Prayagraj: Deputy Chief Minister
Keshav Prasad Maurya on Tuesday lashed out at the opposition parties and said while
Samajwadi Party's PDA bubble has burst the Congress has got itself punctured by doing politics of appeasement.
Maurya, who was in the city to attend Janata Darbar, asked party functionaries to gear up for the upcoming district panchayat and 2027 Assembly elections.
Hitting out at SP, Maurya said: "Samajwadi Party is not able to digest the historic public support received by the
BJP on the birth anniversary of Babasaheb Dr BR Ambedkar. Moreover, SP's fake PDA bubble has burst also (Sapa ka farzi PDA ka gubbara foot chuka Hai)."
He said SP chief Akhilesh Yadav was nervous, and fears being wiped out in the upcoming assembly polls.
"He is making a malicious attempt to break the social fabric by giving baseless statements. It's 100% certain that SP's president's policy is going to be ‘Bhasmasur' for his own party. On the contrary, BJP is doing positive work on the mantra of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' under the leadership of
Prime Minister Narendra Modi," he said.
The DY CM further said that SP always believes in "development of its own family with the support of a few".
"SP has never liked the development of the poor, backward, and Dalits," he added.
Taking on the Congress, Maurya claimed that the history of politics is a witness that Congress itself got 'punctured' by doing politics of Muslim appeasement for decades. Despite this bitter truth, it is still far away from realising the ground reality. The truth is also that it has no other way except to crawl on the crutches of regional parties, he said.
"Despite this, its arrogance is such that it thinks the burden of the country is on it. Though in the opposition, it behaves like the ruling party. Congress, which believes in 'monarchy' under the Gandhi family's shadow instead of the democracy, has never cared about the Constitution," Maurya said.
He went to say that the only difference in its history is that now it has abandoned Gandhiji's Khadi and has come to 'T-shirts'.
"Its impact is also ineffective on the public because even after becoming an MP for five times, Rahul Gandhi means impossible. On the other hand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stands for possible. Under the PM's leadership, BJP is changing the picture of the country, while Congress only wants to see the Muslim community doing petty jobs and businesses.
BJP spokesman Rajesh Kesarwani said the Deputy Chief Minister also discussed with the office bearers of the organisation regarding the formation of the new team of the division and district.
